Origin / Meaning :
The Arms were desigined and proposed already in 1901 by the State Archives, but adopted by the municipalty only in 1956.
The Arms show a Raven, taken from the Old Seal of the Village (known since 1740) :  The Raven is derived from the Arms of the Lords of Helmstatt, who ruled the village in the 19th Century.
